The portable electro-magnet WC-6K with articulated arms operates on a 230 VAC 50 Hz power supply. It is particularly suited for on-site or workshop inspections to ensure the absence of through or very shallow subcutaneous cracks on all ferromagnetic safety parts or weld beads. This model is ideal for inspecting fixed, large, or geometrically complex parts. Its original and thoughtful design provides comfort with optimal handling, speed in inspection with more clearance between the part and the handle compared to competitors, and durability thanks to its shock-resistant urethane rubber molding. The operator handles the WC-6K and controls magnetization with one hand via the waterproof switch integrated into the handle, providing increased safety and ease of use. The laminated articulated arms are specially designed to ensure an ideal contact on the part to be inspected. Built to last, the WC-6K features the most robust traction release device, protecting the cable and connectors from mechanical stresses.

The WC-42 model offers the same performance as the WC-6K but requires a 42 V power supply for low-voltage inspections, and therefore a 220 V / 42 V transformer provided by Sofranel.
