In the industrial sector, to apply a coating successfully, it's vital to control climatic conditions: temperature, humidity, dew point... These parameters are decisive not only for coating application, but also for the quality and performance of the coated product.
In the protective coating industry, we know that moisture forms on the surface when the surface temperature is low enough for condensation to form. The dew point temperature (Td) corresponds to this point.
By controlling surface temperature (Ts) as a function of air temperature (Ta) and relative humidity (%RH), dew point temperature can be calculated and compared with surface temperature. The temperature difference (-T) is a key parameter that dictates the optimum conditions for applying a coating. In the protective coatings industry, we know that moisture forms on the surface when the surface temperature is low enough for condensation to form. The dew point temperature (Td) corresponds to this point.
Complies with standards: (BS 7079-B4) (IMO MSC.215(82)) (IMO MSC.244(83)) (ISO 8502-4) (NSTM 009-32) (US Navy NSI 009-3) (US Navy PPI 63101-000)In the protective coating industry, we know that moisture forms on the surface when the surface temperature is low enough for condensation to form. The dew point temperature (Td) corresponds to this point.
The G319 dew point meter measures and stores all the parameters needed to monitor climatic conditions and determine whether they are suitable for paint application.
User-friendly
Intuitive, multi-language menu with large, bright, user-configurable display.
Robust
Protection against dust and water, equivalent to IP66. Sensors are perfectly insulated, for use in the harshest environments.
Powerful integrated magnets
For attaching the gauge to ferrous objects without the need for a fastening device.
Versaltile
Portable dew point meter and remote measurement acquisition device in a single gauge*.
Maximum/minimum limits
limits can be set for all parameters, with an audible and visual signal when limits are reached.
Memory
The standard gauge has 10 measurements in memory (rotating memory). The Top gauge has a large internal memory for storing up to 25,000 sets of measurements in 999 batches.
Bluetooth* data export
Wireless connection to a PC. Data is downloaded and processed using ElcoMasterTM software, supplied free of charge. Control reports can be created in seconds. With ElcoMasterTM Mobile Software, data can be e-mailed directly from the measurement site to a PDA.
Accurate
Short response time Changeover from degrees

Date and time for all measurements
Simple
Multilingual user menu
Bright, clear display showing up to five parameters, including :
- RH: %Relative Humidity
- Ts: Surface temperature
- Ta: Ambient temperature
- Td: Dew point temperature
- T-: Difference between Td and Ts
- Tdb: Dry bulb temperature
- Twb: Wet bulb temperature
Trend indicators for all these parameters
Source of employment
Can be used both as a portable dew point meter and as a remote measurement recording device*.
Integrated thermocouple socket for magnetic surface probe or liquid probe.
Transformation of the gauge into a simple thermometer by switching to "Te" mode - ideal for pre-application coating temperature measurements, or other external temperatures.
Hold/Freeze function for making and reviewing manual measurements before saving to memory.
Durable
Made from heat-resistant materials.
Dust-tight and waterproof, protection equivalent to IP66.
Robust, ergonomic design. Sensors are fully insulated and built to last.
Versatile
Data can be downloaded to a PC via USB or Bluetooth connection* and processed with ElcoMasterTM Software*
ElcoMasterTM Software features a "Watchguard" function enabling the user to remotely control up to 24 gauges on a single screen*
Each gauge operates either on two AA batteries or directly via the USB cable.
The limits of each parameter can be set. An audible and luminous signal is triggered as soon as these limits are exceeded, even if this does not appear on the display.
