ACQ – Acquisition

Controls sensors such as flat panels or digital cameras. By viewing images in real time, the user can take image captures or videos, and when satisfied with the result, these will be automatically saved. This module supports Diconde, Dicom, Tiff, Jpeg, Png, Bmp and raw formats. All flat panels are supplied with "Acquisition" software, which also enables video recording and detector offset and gain calibration. This software is installed directly on the control computer.    

IPS012 (Image Processing Software)

Essential not only for interpreting digital images, but also for qualifying your digital chain in terms of SNR (dsgfg) and SRB (dfdsfgdg).

IPS012 is the latest version of Balteau NDT's image processing software for the X-ray industry. It is part of the "Inspection Suite" comprising 12 different modules capable of controlling all aspects of your X-ray system. IPS012 has been developed by our team of engineers to make the software extremely easy to use. Ahead of the competition, Balteau is the first to create a modular suite of software built on the same base to create a user-friendly working environment and thus ensure complete compatibility between all the components and modules of your installation. The suite has been designed for use with Balteau systems, but is also 100% compatible with most current systems. With a direct link to the acquisition module, the images taken are automatically transferred to IPS, after which image processing can begin. Many different features such as "zone of interest", "grayscale", "filters" etc. are included in the basic version, but not only that, many more options are available. IPS012 incorporates all the usual processing algorithms, plus a number of new features that will soon find their way into your day-to-day work.

Grey profile :

The gray profile has been created to help the user identify defects as easily as possible, but also to facilitate their measurement. It is displayed as a graph representing the gray level from the line or rectangle previously defined on the image.

Detector qualification, signal-to-noise ratio data, etc.

IPS012 can create a complete report with an objective measurement of basic spatial resolution in compliance with EN ISO 17636-2:2010 and/or measure the signal-to-noise ratio. It can be very useful when precision is important to see small defects and can be added to the file with all the shots taken.

Designed for user-to-user image transfer & archiving. DDN lets you create your own image libraries (using the Dicom Dir standard) and share them with your contacts thanks to the built-in free viewer.

SRC

Linked to XRRC, SRC will control and seal the X-ray beam when required by the user.

ARC (Axis Remote Control)

ARC controls the system's motors, such as the manipulator, door, etc. It can control up to 9 axes. This module can also be controlled remotely using the learning mode.

DRC (Diaphragm Remote control)

DRC controls the motors of the various diaphragm shutters and collimates the radiation beam according to the user's wishes.

AUTOMATION (Module Integrator)

Automation is a software package that brings together and manages all other modules such as XRRC, ACQ, ARC, DRC... in a single window. Automation also includes a learning mode for recording all movement data, X-ray and detector settings to automate the inspection of specific components. The Database add-on (optional) is also available for memorizing, storing and organizing all recorded data, and enabling easy retrieval by searching metadata.  

ADR

ADR has been created to finalize the automation process by automatically identifying defective or non-defective parts and informing the operator (accepted, rejected, to be checked, etc.).
