BRACELET

This manual BRACELET scanner is the ideal tool for inspecting circumferential welds on small pipes, using phased array or TOFD ultrasound. Lightweight and slim, it is extremely easy to set up and use for pipes from 0.5" to 6". The bracelet is compatible with miniature contoured probes and is designed to be used in restricted access areas, with a clearance height of 13 mm.

FEATURES The bracelet is available in single or dual mode:

• Compact design: The bracelet scanner has a height from the pipe surface of only 13 mm and can be installed around pipes for 360° inspection even when only half the pipe is accessible.
• Easy Velcro strap: The bracelet scanner is quick and easy to secure using a Velcro strap. Likewise, adding or removing links to resize the scanner for different pipe diameters is very simple.
• Phased array or TOFD inspection: The bracelet scanner is optimized for inspecting circumferential welds on small diameter pipes using phased array probes. However, a TOFD kit can be added to further optimize this solution.
• Single or dual option: Inspection from one side of the weld, or simultaneous inspection from both sides.
• Rubber wheels: Rubber-coated wheels give the bracelet excellent axial grip to prevent unwanted slipping and ensure smooth circumferential movement around the pipe.
• Integrated encoder: The miniature encoder provides high-resolution recording (36 steps/mm) fully compatible with Sonatest instruments.
