A key advantage of the Aerocheck is its ability to work identically for left- and right-handed operators, thanks to the original “Flip” screen rotation function. What's more, all the important keys are in the same position regardless of whether the instrument is used in right- or left-handed mode. Its sturdiness is guaranteed by an aluminum case with a high-resistance paint finish.

Easy to Use with the “ALL-IN-ONE” Menu

The Aérocheck offers a simple, single-level main menu. Any main menu item can be stored in the function bar (displayed simultaneously with the signal) with its own easily recognizable icon, allowing quick adjustments during inspection. There are four operator-programmable positions and a fifth for the last-used menu function.

To further facilitate use, the device includes two programmable multifunction keys (Screen Clear, Screenshot Capture, Auto Phase, Auto Balance, Screen Rotation, Freeze Adjustment, and Reference Signal).

In full-screen mode, a quick menu can be displayed with essential inspection parameters (frequency, phase, connector, balance, filters, gains). All function key settings are stored in the setups.

Connectors

Under the protective flap, there is a USB port for fast data transfer and PC control. A microSD card slot allows for storing settings and data (over 500 with a 2GB card). The VGA port enables use with a video projector.

The Aérocheck works with absolute, differential, or reflection probes connected via a standard 12-pin LEMO connector (compatible with most devices on the market). You can therefore use your existing probes and cables. It also includes a LEMO 00 connector to connect absolute probes using a simple LEMO00-MICRODOT cable.

Outstanding Battery Life

With over 10 hours of battery life when using a 100kHz weld probe and 7 hours in rotary mode for bore inspection, the Aérocheck is the go-to choice for long inspection days. The device can be used in the field for a full day without needing to return for recharging. Even better, the additional AA battery pack can extend operating time by 4 hours.

Large Color Display

The Aérocheck is suitable for all types of weather and lighting conditions. It features a 14.5 cm diagonal color LCD screen with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, providing excellent visibility and clarity in all circumstances. The operator can configure custom color schemes and display modes. Signals can be viewed in impedance plane, time base, waterfall, or galvanometer mode.

The Aérocheck devices can control various mini rotors. These allow differential probes to rotate for defect detection inside bores.

The instruments are capable of driving several mini rotors from different manufacturers:

  • ARD001 and ARD002 from ETHER NDE

  • MR3 from ROHMANN (via special cable)

  • SR1 and SR2 from ZETEC (via special cable)

he TRACE function allows a previously saved signal to be displayed for comparison purposes. This enables the operator to view the reference trace alongside the signal from the test piece.

Conductivity (Aerocheck +)Many aeronautical procedures require conductivity monitoring. Aerocheck + automatically switches to this mode when the conductivity probe is connected, and returns to fault-finding mode when it is disconnected.  

Dual-frequency (aerocheck +)

With different settings on the same probe, it is possible to subtract (mix) part of the unwanted signal. For example, a plate signal during a tube inspection. It is also possible to control two probes with two separate settings. Easy to use, with a menu for each channel: - red for channel 1 - blue for channel 2 - green for the mixing channel
