Magnetic material testing to identify defects invisible to the naked eye

Magnetic particle inspection (MPI) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) technique commonly used to detect surface cracks or discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials. By applying a magnetic field to the part to be inspected, magnetic particles visually reveal defects such as cracks, inclusions or areas of corrosion that are not visible to the naked eye.

This method is particularly effective for inspecting critical components in sectors such as aerospace, automotive and oil & gas. MT is fast, reliable and cost-effective, while offering high sensitivity for detecting defects on complex or hard-to-reach surfaces.
