Thickness gages for non-magnetic materials

Description

The Magna-Mike Model 8600 is an easy-to-use, hand-held thickness gauge that uses a magnetic method for fast, accurate and reproducible thickness measurements on non-ferromagnetic materials. To do this, a magnetic probe is applied to one side of the part to be measured, while a small steel ball is placed on the opposite side. The Hall probe measures the distance between the end of the probe and the ball, and the device then displays this thickness in digital form.

Magna-Mike 8600 - SOFRANEL

The Magna-Mike 8600 is the ideal device for measuring parts of all shapes and sizes. It allows non-destructive measurements in tight areas such as corners or grooves with a radius of 0.8 mm. The display simultaneously shows the measured thickness and the minimum value encountered. The Magna-Mike is considered an indispensable tool in the plastic packaging industry, but there are many other applications for glass, composites and non-ferrous metals.
